Collective Agreement
The collective agreement between OECTA, OCSTA (Ontario Catholic School Trustees’ Association), and the Government of Ontario consists of two distinct parts:
Part A (referred to as Central Terms): includes the central terms that apply to all OECTA members in Ontario and covers significant items such as compensation, sick leave and other statutory leaves, and planning time.
Part B (referred to as Local terms): includes issues that relate specifically to members in Wellington such as staffing and other local procedures.

Staffing/Hiring information:
Information related to the staffing process can be found in the “Teacher Transfer, Posting and Hiring Process” document attached below. While not included directly in the collective agreement, this document is referenced in article 11.10 and outlines the processes which govern staffing in Wellington, including teacher transfers, SERT hiring, increases in time, and important dates and deadlines for doing so.
